From 1850 renovations and expansions of a countrified ancestral home; builder Lorenz Gredig (1829–1905). 1896-98 expanded by the Ragaz Brothers to a big neo-Baroque three-wing annex with a “court of honour”; roof with cupola.
Opulent interior decoration; ceiling painting in neo-rococo by Otto Haberer, 1901. One of the most well-established hotels of the Upper Engadine Valley, integrated into the village collective.
